Why it’s almost great (but not quite)

The modern design is truly captivating, showcasing sleek aesthetics and a clean atmosphere. Plus, the staff radiate friendliness, ensuring a welcoming experience throughout my visit.

Sadly, noise from the nearby highway disrupted my sleep, while the complicated room controls made adjusting the lighting and temperature cumbersome.

I appreciated the friendly and accommodating staff and the well-equipped fitness center, which made my stay enjoyable. However, I faced some noise disturbances from the highway and found the room layout a bit cramped. This hotel could be great for families needing modern amenities, but noise management might need improvement.

I couldn't believe the utter chaos at breakfast. The staff were unfriendly, barely managing to serve us, and the tea was like pond water. As for the temperature control, it wouldn't go below 67°F, leaving me sweating all night, and when I struggled with the luggage cart, the staff just watched instead of helping. It's infuriating to spend so much and have such a terrible experience!

My stay at Marcel New Haven was enjoyable owing to the modern design, spacious and well-appointed room, and exceptional staff service. The hotel features unique Bauhaus touches, which added character to the ambiance. The amenities provided, such as high-quality toiletries and controlled curtains, enhanced my comfort greatly.

Cool design and tasty food

Really liked the retro vibe and how quiet the room was even though it's near a highway. The food was surprisingly delicious, especially at the bar. Only bummer was the pricey menu—had me eyeing my wallet. But overall, the comfy fridge and kettle in the room were a nice bonus!
